Their dedication to crafting exceptional wines was rewarded on January 31, 2023, when Château Trimoulet won first place in a blind tasting of Saint-Émilion wines from 2018 to 2020, evaluated by over 140 wine professionals.
– Château Trimoulet 2018: A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc with a 14% alcohol content, sourced from vines averaging 40 years of age. This vintage is celebrated for its fresh, complex aromas, balanced structure, and refined tannins, earning a rating of 92 points. Production: 10,000 bottles of the first label and 8,000 of the second label.
– Château Trimoulet 2019: With the same grape composition, this vintage is known for its rich, multi-layered aromas, silky tannins, and subtle roasted and mineral notes. It achieved an impressive 93-point rating. Production: 5,000 bottles of the first label and 4,000 of the second label.
– Château Trimoulet 2020: Featuring a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, this vintage stands out for its vibrant color, smooth tannins, and a lingering finish of over two minutes. It received a prestigious 94-point rating. Production: 5,500 bottles of the first label and 4,500 of the second label.
